Soft Tissue Therapy & Remedial Massage
In addition to treating injury, soft tissue/massage therapy is ideal as a regular treatment or maintenance programme, to help with flexibility and mobility of muscles & joints.
It’s also great for wellness, with benefits including lowered stress, reduced anxiety & improved sleep.
Where appropriate, appointments include assessment, treatment & provision of rehabilitation plan.

The Runners MOT
The Runners MOT is suitable for runners of all abilities but may be of particular use to new runners, runners returning from injury or runners prone to injury.
The Runners MOT is designed to:
- assess if you are at increased risk of injury
- reduce your risk of injury
- assist with return to running
- help you move better
- improve performance
In addition to discussing lifestyle, training & goals, you will undergo a series of assessments that measure joint range of motion & muscle strength and consider functional movement.
Data is used to evaluate any increased risk of injury & to provide a personalised mobility & strength programme.

*Please note*
Does not include gait analysis or assessment of running technique

Stretch Therapy
Stretch Therapy is a targeted, hands-on, assisted stretching & mobilisation treatment, that is designed to improve mobility, increase flexibility, reduce muscle tension, ease joint stiffness and promote relaxation.
Assisted stretching allows for a deeper, more intense stretch than you would be able to achieve on your own.
Unlike massage therapy, you remain fully clothed during the treatment and whilst you sit or lie on the massage couch, this is a more active treatment. Engaging your muscles and joints is an important part of the process, so whilst some stretches will be passive, you will need to be prepared to actively participate by pulling, pushing or resisting against the therapist's weight.
*Please note that whilst stretch therapy is a safe from of treatment, it may not be suitable for people that have had joint replacements, have joint hypermobility, have limited or reduced mobility or are pregnant.

Dry Cupping Therapy
Dry Cupping is a technique that can be used in conjunction with massage therapy.
Plastic cups are applied to the skin and a suction pump is used to create a vacuum, causing a stretch to the skin and connective tissues. The technique has been found to be helpful in relieving muscle tension, muscular spasms and pain, headaches & back problems.
